sons: Edward Jackson Grant, Charles Carpenter Grant.

Came to Chicago, 1892;

began business in 1896 as president of the Marsh & Grant Company, printers;

vice president The Franklin Company, 1902-15;

president Rathbun-Grant Printing Company, since 1915.

Member: Chicago Typothetse (president 1912-15), Illinois Commercial Men's Association.
