Silverman, Lazarus

Lazarus Silverman (1830-1909) was a banker and subdivider of the Montrose Subdivision. It's said that, Bradford A. Lawrence, who was a friend of Silverman's, was walking with Silverman in Silverman's new Montrose Subdivision when Silverman reportedly said, "Let's call this Lawrence Avenue."
