The chamber doesn't oversee programs such as Special Service Areas, which are taxing districts located along business corridors. The Rogers Park Business Alliance officially handles those for the city.
Instead, the chamber helps new small businesses incorporate with the state, set up bank accounts, and obtain loans, if necessary.
