Established on Tuesday, April 14, 2009, the present Rogers Park Chamber of Commerce is the official chamber of commerce of Rogers Park. The Rogers Park Chamber of Commerce was founded by current president Bill Morton. He created the chamber upon realizing the small businesses, organizations, and institutions of Rogers Park needed assistance in getting their information and name out there to local residents.
As a result of creating the Chamber, President Bill Morton and board members created events and activities to support and assist local small businesses and to increase their ability to stay in business.
The Rogers Park Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit organization and is a non-political entity.
Mission Statement:
To provide leadership and representation in order to benefit the members operating businesses in the Rogers Park Community.
Vision Statement:
To guide businesses, service organizations and individuals to establish new businesses and promote existing businesses within the Rogers Park community. To create and stimulate an orderly economic growth, thereby enriching Rogers Park's diverse population.
