Robert A. Ilg Services Set in California

Mass for Robert A. Ilg, Sr., (1879-1964) 85, formerly of Chicago who died on Christmas day in San Francisco, California, will be held at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, San Francisco.

Mr. Ilg was the founder and former president of the Ilg Electric Ventilating Company, 2850 N. Pulaski Road.

In 1932, he constructed a half-size replica of the Leaning Tower of Pisa on a 22-acre tract at 6200 W. Touhy Avenue, Niles, Illinois. The tower, which has become a landmark, is situated on a 4-1/2 acre tract which Ilg donated to the Y.M.C.A. on which a $3,800,000 building is under construction.

Ilg is survived by his widow, Marie; a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Houser; and two sons, Robert A. Ilg, Jr.; and Paul F. Ilg.
