This was a Rogers Park neighborhood theater. Under the management of the Lubliner & Trinz theater chain, it was originally known as the Ellantee Theater and was opened in 1919. The theater was later renamed the Ridge Theater.
In November 1952, it was closed as a movie house and today the building houses the Clark Devon Hardware.
