Rapid Transit
Rogers Park has four CTA rapid transit elevated railroad stops within its borders.
Some of the stations changed their names after the ground-level rapid transit railroad was elevated.
Many of these "L" stations had more than one name. These were usually pre- and post-elevation names.

Built in 1886, it was located on Bryan Street (now Jarvis Avenue) just east of Ashland Avenue, near the site of the present CTA Jarvis elevated rapid transit station. Photo 1890.
