Education: public schools in Germany; also took high school course and courses in French and English; read law in Kent College, 1896-7.

Married: Susan Prussing, nee: Susan Zinc, in Chicago, on Friday, October 15, 1880

Children: Lillian C. Prussing, Mrs. Clinton C. Collins; Peter N. Prussing

Learned trade of machinist in Germany, and attended manual training schools at Dortmund, Westphalia, Germany

Chief Engineer in the school for 8 years (1871-1879).

Came to America in 1879.

For 13 years (1879-1892), was engaged in retail grocery business;

Established in the real estate, loan, and insurance business 1893.

Recreations: motoring, horseback riding, hunting.
