West, Myron Howard
He was a landscape architect who lived in the northern suburb of Wilmette, Illinois at 916 Greenleaf Avenue.
He also was president of the Western Park Builders Association.

Services for Myron Howard West, 80, of 916 Greenleaf Avenue, Wilmette, one time superintendent of Lincoln Park for six years, and a nationally known landscaper and city planner, will be held at 3 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday, October 25, 1960) in the chapel at 1100 Greenleaf Avenue in the suburb.
Mr. West died Saturday in Evanston Hospital. He had been retired for several years. After retiring from the Lincoln Park post in 1912, he operated American Park Builders. He had planned and supervised the lake fill and construction of North Lake Shore Drive through Lincoln Park. In 1922, he worked out the master plan for the development of Springfield, Illinois.
