Mike "Dago Mike" Carrozzo was the President of the Chicago Street Labors Union.

Carrozzo ran Local 1002 of the International Hod Carriers and Building Laborers' Union as well as more that 20 other labor unions in Chicago.

There's a lengthy story about Carrozzo in the Chicago Tribune, March 27, 1943, page 10.

Seems he had a huge estate on the shore of Lake Michigan in Long Beach, Indiana. When he fell ill, he was driven to Presbyterian Hospital in Chicago, where he died.
