Hippach, Louis Albert
Louis Albert Hippach (1864-1935) lived at 7360 N. Sheridan Road, circa 1910. However, when he died in 1935, he lived at 2808 Sheridan Place, Evanston.
Louis was the vice-president (co-founder) of the Tyler & Hippach Glass Company, 366 W. Ohio Avenue.

Louis married Ida Sophia Hippach, nee: Ida Sophia Fischer.
Louis's wife, Ida, and their daughter Jean, went to Europe because Ida needed to recover from the shock of the death of two of their sons, L. Archibald and Robert A. in the Iroquois Theater fire, December 30, 1903. They returned on the ill-fated RMS Titanic. On April 17, 1903, the Chicago papers announced their rescue.
The surviving son, Howard Henry Hippach worked for an engineering firm in North Carolina. He accompanied his father, Louis, as they travelled to New York City to meet his mother and sister. The family arrived back in Chicago on April 21, 1912, aboard the New York Central Railroad's 20th Century Limited.
Children:
Louis died in May 1935 and his estate was valued at $500,000.
