Kinzie, Ellen Marion

Dr. Alexander Wolcott, Jr. (1790-1830) came to Chicago from Windsor, Connecticut, as an Indian Agent in 1820. He married Ellen Marion Kinzie, the daughter of John Kinzie, one of Chicago's founders. Their wedding was the first in Chicago. Her married name would therefore be Ellen Marion Wolcott.
