James B. Jackson was the original owner of 2200 W. Pratt Boulevard, which was designed by architect Norman Wolcott Cook and constructed by contractor G. Cassidy in 1920.

This house was part of the 1996 Annual Fall House Tour.

James B. Jackson lived at 7101 N. Ridge Boulevard.

There is a rumor that James B. Jackson was one of the sons of Andrew B. Jackson builder of the landmark home at 7053 N. Ridge Boulevard. But, this needs further investigation.
