son of: Angus McKay and Catherine McKay, nee: Catherine Harris

education: public schools and business college, Chicago;

married: Elizabeth McKay, nee: Elizabeth Kynock, of Boston, Massachusetts, on June 5 1895;

daughter, Shirley McKay.

Began in employ of firm of J.M.W. Jones, printers and publishers, 1883-9;

then with George E. Marshall & Company, 1889-93;

became connected with firm of which has since been a member in 1894, and president and treasurer, Shattuck & McKay Company since 1916;

vice president of Angus McKay Company, manufacturers of moldings and interior finish.

Member: Old Time Printers' Association.

Republican.

Congregationalist.

Mason Knights Templar (K.T.), Shriner.

Recreations: hunting and other outdoor diversions.
