Clarence Hatzfeld Soundex Code H321

Clarence Hatzfeld (1873–1943) was a prolific Chicago architect who has been relatively unknown, despite the fact that the city retains a large collection of his handsome Prairie and Revival style park field houses, commercial buildings, and residences.

Hatzfeld designed many Chicago Park District field houses, including those at Indian Boundary Park, Portage Park, Greenbriar Park, Independence Park, and Chippewa Park, as well as Prairie-style and Tudor-Revival commercial buildings and residences of the era.
