Harvey Eugene Keeler (1855-1933) some listings say "Hervey" instead of "Harvey". We'll use "Harvey."

At the time of his death, Harvey E. Keeler was a resident of Wilmette, Illinois. He was Treasurer of the American Water Works Association and represented Ludlow Valve Manufacturing Company, a manufacturer of valves.

Harvey E. Keeler was the President of the Rogers Park Water Company.

And, the Chicago manager of the Ludlow Valve Manufacturing Company;

Born in: Seneca Falls, NY, on January 2, 1855;

Son of: William Henry Keeler and Netty Agnes Keeler, nee Netty Agnes Bignall,

Educated in public schools in New York;

Married Mary F. Keeler, nee: Mary F. Burnham, in St. Louis, Missouri, on January 2, 1878;

daughter: Georgie Keeler now (Mrs. Harry B. Clark, a.k.a. Mrs. Georgie Clark).

First business connection was with the Silsby Manufacturing Company (now known as the American LaFrance Fire Engine Company) at Seneca Falls, NY, in 1872;

Keeler then went to St. Louis, Missouri, and was traveling salesman for the M.C. Bignal Company, heavy hardware;

He then represented the same line with Ripley & Kimball, 1877-9;

And, then, with National Tube Works, Chicago branch, 1879-99;

in 1899 opened Chicago branch for the Ludlow Valve Manufacturing Company, of which he has since had charge as manager.

In 1889 organized the Rogers Park water system and still operates it as president and director of the Rogers Park Water Company;

also general manager of Lake Forest Water Company.
