born in: Laramie, Wyoming, on Thursday, January 25, 1877;

son of: Walter Gussenhoven2 and Mary Gussenhoven, nee: Mary Van Doormolen

education: public schools, Laramie, Wyoming and New York City;

married: Maude Gussenhoven, nee: Maude Howard, of Fox Lake, Illinois, on Saturday, December 24, 1904;

son: Howard Gussenhoven.

In employ of a carriage manufacturing establishment, 1892-9;

then became connected in New York City with Revere Rubber Company, of Boston, Massachusetts, continuing until 1899;

removed to Chicago for the company, 1902, and has been manager at Chicago since the fall of 1915.

Member: Illinois Manufacturers' Association, Chicago Association of Commerce.

Republican.

Presbyterian.

Recreations: fishing, motoring.
