George Edward Waldo, Patent Attorney

Born: Prattsburg, Steuben County, New York, Sunday, February 8, 1863.

Son of: William W. Waldo and Dorothy F. Waldo, nee: Dorothy F. Wood.

Education: B.M.E. University of Wisconsin, Wednesday, June 24, 1885; and his LL.B. in 1888. While Waldo attended UW, he lived in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. When he graduated in 1885, he was 22 years, 4 months old. His Thesis was entitled: Ventilation. He received Honors of the Second Grade.

Physical statistics: (1885), 5'11" tall, 148 lbs.

Married: Veronica V. Waldo, nee: Veronica V. La Rose, in Chicago on Monday, December 3, 1906.

Began practice as a member of the firm of Dwinnell & Waldo, Black River Falls, Wisconsin.

Later firm of Castle & Waldo.

District Attorney of Jackson County, Wisconsin by appointment of Wisconsin Governor Jeremiah McLain Rusk, 1890-1.

Removed to Chicago, 1891.
