Fisher's Grove

The area east of Sheridan Road and west of Lake Michigan and north of Howard Street and south of Evanston City Limits, was once known as Fisher's Grove, was subdivided in 1910 by developer Ben Lowenmeyer. The extension of the “L” to Howard brought further residents and interest in the area.
