education: public schools of Boone, Iowa; LL.B., Lake Forest College law dept., 1894;

married: Elizabeth Scripps McFadden, nee: Elizabeth Scripps Speed, of Rushville, Illinois, on October 14, 1903;

Son, John E. McFadden

Admitted to Bar, 1894;

engaged in general practice until became assistant secretary and attorney for Hibernian Banking Association;

secretary and attorney for Hibernian Banking Association since 1913.

Member: Illinois State Bar Association and Chicago Bar Association.

Democrat.
