married: Elizabeth Westman, nee: Elizabeth Linerson, of Chicago, on February 28, 1884;

children: Arline Westman (Mrs. Edward L. Kunze), Ethel Westman.

Began, 1880, with Blomgren Brothers & Company (established, 1875) and vice president of same, 1889-1906, president since 1906.

Gas inspector under Chicago Mayor George Bell Swift, 1895-7.
