Eames, Henry F.

Henry F. Eames (1813-1897) was born in Utica, N.Y. and lived in Illinois since 1840. After making a success as a country banker at Ottawa, Illinois, he came to Chicago and bought a controlling interest in the Commercial National Bank, remaining with the bank until his death.
