Charles A. McCulloch was the former circulation manager of the Chicago Tribune.

In 1898, the Parmelee transfer business was capitalized for a half million dollars and the stock was divided among the members of his family. Franklin Parmelee, the firm’s founder and namesake, retired placing his two eldest sons, John Whitney and Charles King in charge of the corporation. Charles A. McCulloch, the former circulation manager of the Chicago Tribune, was enlisted to take over the day-to-day management of the firm.
