Many immigrants from Luxembourg settled in the Chicago area and Rogers Park. As a smaller ethnic group in a very large city, they formed societies in order to socialize with and offer support to other Luxembourg immigrants. The Luxembourg Brotherhood Bruderbund Luxemburgh is the largest of those societies and had many sections, including one in Rogers Park.
