Ayres Boal announced that his son, Ayres Boal, Jr. had been made a partner in his real estate firm located at 122 S. Michigan Avenue. Ayres Jr. will specialize in management.
Ayres, Jr. was a Dartmouth man. After leaving college in 1928, he was employed by the Northern Trust Company for more than two years, afterward entering his father's firm. Among his recent duties has been the management of the Spanish Court properties in "No Man's Land", between Wilmette and Kenilworth.
Before entering the business world, Ayres, Jr. spent a year in Labrador with Sir Wilfred Grenfell.
He is married and lives in Winnetka. (see below)
In the Chicago Tribune, Wednesday, May 7, 1930, page 37,
it was announced that Ayres Boal, Jr. and Miss Frances Marietta Ellison were engaged to be married. Her mother, Mrs. Thomas Hamilton Ellison, 101 Clyde Avenue, Evanston made the announcement.
Frances was on the teaching staff of the North Shore Country Day School for several years.

Memorial services for Ayres Boal, Jr. 82 (1907-1989), a long-time Winnetka commercial property owner and manager, will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, 1989, in the chapel of Winnetka Congregational Church, 725 Pine Street, Winnetka. Mr. Boal died Monday in Evanston Hospital. He was among Winnetka's pioneer families and attended North Shore Country Day School and Dartmouth College. He was involved in real estate management most of his life until a year ago when he sold his interest in several properties in downtown Winnetka.
Survivors include three daughters Mrs. Frances B. Corrington, Mrs. Leslie B. Selzer, and Ann Boal; six grandchildren; a brother, and a sister.
