According to an e-mail from the Aurora Public Library, Saturday, 10/25/2014:
"The 1886 Aurora, IL City Directory, p. 33 lists "Centre School--East Park pl. High School--Sidney M. Haskell, principal" and it goes on to list a few other staff members. I asked a few other staff members, and East Park pl. is near Root Street between Galena and New York Streets, by McCarty Park."
