Loyola's Piper Hall was built on the lakefront in 1909 by Albert Gallatin Wheeler was hailed in 1916 by the Chicago Tribune as an architectural masterpiece.

Albert Wheeler House, 970 W. Sheridan Road, architect: William Carbys Zimmerman. It was designated as a Chicago Landmark on Wednesday, June 5, 2013.

Two different addresses have been used to describe this property: 970 W. Sheridan Road and 6355 N. Sheridan Road.
