This 3,863 sq.ft. house sits on a 13,185 sq.ft. lot. This is the largest house and largest lot in the 10-house development.

It has a living-dining room approximately 20 x 30 feet with handsome stone chimney serving as the demarcation between the two areas. This home’s kitchen is U-shaped and was decorated by John M. Smyth Co.

The counter tops are red linoleum and there are two floor-to-ceiling cabinets along one wall for storage space.

The architect who won the $1,000 prize for his plans for this house was Edward Leonard Burch, Jr. from Evanston, Illinois.
