There is no attic and the partial basement is unfinished. The house has central air conditioning and no fireplace. There is a one-car attached garage. This 3,301 sq.ft. house sits on a 7,836 sq.ft. lot.

In the kitchen, furnished by Style Crest Stores, we find a built-in range with a stainless steel top. There’s a built-in bread board, linoleum-covered counter tops, and a double-compartment sink to add to the efficiency of this arrangement.

The architect that won the $1,000 prize for his design of this house was Walter John Thies from Dayton, Ohio.
