The Driscoll House is a two-story building of Stucco over masonry with a front gable. Access to this modified Prairie School house is gained from the right side.

Visitors come through the front door to an unusually large entry way. A short flight of stairs leads you to the dining room and to your left is a large living room. Three windows on opposite walls admit ample light and a wood-burning fireplace is centered on the North wall.

Louvre doors separate the living room from a study where floor to ceiling bookcases line the walls. This area once served as a sun room and porch before the Driscolls remodeled it; refinishing the pine floors and changing the windows.

The dining room has a bay of three large windows to one side and a breakfront against the opposite wall. A brass chandelier is suspended over the dining table.

Adjacent to the dining room is a breakfast room with wood paneling and a kitchen, remodeled by previous owners. In 1988, this room was scheduled for remodeling by the Driscolls.

To the rear is a family room. Once an outside porch, this area was rebuilt and made larger by previous owners. The Driscolls added a fireplace in 1986, also installing parquet floors, thermal pane windows, and an entertainment center.

The second floor of the house has four bedrooms and a bathroom. The bedrooms are light and airy with good cross ventilation. All bedroom floors are maple; the Driscolls refinished the floors in three of the bedrooms in their early years in the house.
