Walking Devon and Other Stories: Living History with David Patt

David Patt lived in West Rogers Park from 1955 to 1990, graduating from Boone Elementary School and Mather High School. He played at Indian Boundary Park, biked around the neighborhood, and frequently walked Devon Avenue. As an adult, he served as President of the North Town Community Council and of the Jewish Community Council of West Rogers Park.

Take a break from the pressures of current events and enjoy a look back at the simplicity of childhood. Long-time West Ridge resident David Patt will share stories from his memoir of the 1950s and 1960s, Walking Devon and other childhood memories and we’ll all take time to remember and share our own favorite childhood experiences.
