A Return to Historic Rosehill

Walking tours are back for the summer, beginning with the return of our popular walk through historic Rosehill Cemetery. Neighborhood Historian Glenna Eaves will once again lead a tour that reveals the early story of our community by visits to the graves and monuments of men and women who helped build our neighborhood. Farmers, soldiers, business owners, artists and a host of others from Rogers Park, West Ridge and neighboring areas like Evanston all played a role in our history. Glenna will tell the stories of famous and lesser-known local residents whose vision, enterprise and dedication shaped the history and the present nature of the community we live in today.

Tour begins at Rosehill East Entry Gate, 5800 N. Ravenswood Avenue. Limited parking available on site.
