Part of Rogers Park and West Ridge’s unique cultural diversity comes from the variety of faith communities that call this area home. Our first-ever Open Houses of Worship Weekend recognizes the role of religion in the history of the neighborhood and provides an opportunity to learn about culturally diverse religious congregations with visits to thirteen Houses of Worship over the course of one weekend.Visit them all, or choose from any on the list, to learn each group’s history, the people they serve and the role they play in the community life of Rogers Park and West Ridge.
Preregistration is recommended, but walk-ins are welcome. You may register, pick up your guidebook and start your tour at any of the participating locations. If buying tickets at a congregation site, please pay with check or exact change in cash.
