Living History Series: Building New Lives – The Story and Mission of RefugeeOne

Join us for a talk by Zachary Dmyterko, Communications Manager of RefugeeOne who will tell the story of the mission and work of RefugeeOne, and how the agency has helped more than 20,000 legal refugees rebuild their lives since 1982.

Mr. Dmyterko will be followed by 40th Ward Alderman Andre Vasquez, who will give a briefing on the resettlement of asylum seekers who have recently arrived in the 40th Ward, and how community members can get involved.

Cost: Free and open to all. Pre-registration helps us know how many people to expect, but is not required.
