As the largest resettlement agency in Chicago, RefugeeOne has welcomed more than 20,000 legal refugees through the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program since 1982.  Join us for a talk by Zachary Dmyterko, Communications Manager of RefugeeOne who will tell the story of the mission and work of RefugeeOne. He will be followed by Jeff Gonzalez, 49^th Ward Outreach Coordinator for Alderwoman Maria Hadden, who will give a briefing on the resettlement of asylum seekers from southern border who have recently arrived in the 49^th Ward, and how community members can get involved.
