Annual Member Meeting: Our Past, Present and Future in the Bicentennial Year
March 24 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
In 2018, we’re celebrating our 43 years in the community, the 125th Anniversary of Rogers Park/West Ridge annexation to the city of Chicago and the Bicentennial of the State of Illinois.
Join us for light refreshments at our Annual Membership Meeting as we review the accomplishments of the past and explore the future of our organization, our community and our state in this landmark year. To kick things off, current members will vote on new candidates for the Rogers Park/West Ridge Board of Directors, and President Ken Walchak will report on a successful 2017 and what we’re planning to make 2018 even better.
Then we’ll be joined by State Senator Heather Steans, who represents part of our community in Springfield, to hear her view of the State of our State as Illinois celebrates the Bicentennial of statehood.
Plan to attend and add your ideas to the on-going dialogue on how the Rogers Park/West Ridge Historical Society can best serve our members and the community we all share.
