Gathering Places: Religion and Community in the Modern City

Join Loyola University Chicago Professor Christopher D. Cantwell and his graduate students as they present the research on selected faith-based communities within the Rogers Park and West Ridge neighborhoods. The research incorporates both oral and written histories from multiple archives sources and uses spatial mapping software to create a timeline migration or evolution history of the following communities: Congregation KINS, United Church of Rogers Park, Living Water Community Church, Christ Church Chicago and St. Padre Pio Parish.
