Living History: Meet Mod4, a 1960s All-Girl Garage Band

Join RPWRHS member Kathy Talkin and her former bandmate Nellie Hastings as they relive the journey of the Mod 4, a 1960s all-girl garage band.  They were billed as the youngest all-girl combo in the country at the time when they started out from Aledo, Illinois in the late summer of 1966.  Follow them through their career from playing gigs in the Midwest, cutting singles in the studio, to their trip to LA for a Battle of the Bands on the rock variety show Happening ‘69, an ABC-TV program produced by Dick Clark and hosted by Paul Revere and the Raiders to their last gig in the fall of 1970 at a club in Kewanee, Illinois.
