As we continue a second week of demonstrations seeking justice for all who have been affected by ongoing racial discrimination, our community is taking small steps toward reopening while continuing to fight the still-untamed Covid-19 pandemic. In this historic moment, we stand in solidarity with those whose voices have been ignored for so long, and we mourn for the lives lost to violence or virus. We urge everyone to speak out, seek justice, and continue to take safety precautions against the virus. We are a strong, united community and we know that better times are ahead.
