H
istory is constantly changing. New things are always being discovered, and old ideas are falling by the wayside in the face of newer information. And we at the Rogers Park/West Ridge Historical Society are keeping up with change by using current internet technologies to share the stories of our neighborhoods. That’s why we created the History Wiki.

The Wiki uses open-source MediaWiki software, the same software used by the popular internet encyclopedia, Wikipedia. Over 5,000 pages of information about our communities are included here. You can search this database of historical information by word or phrase (e.g., “Touhy,” or “Philip McGregor Rogers,” etc.), making it easy for you to find whatever you're looking for.

Just follow this link below to a vast collection of stories about our far north Chicago communities.

Welcome to the Society’s History Wiki!
