with the July 2009 issue of the Society's newsletter, The Historian, we are now printing with soy inks on recycled paper.We're trying to do our part to reduce our carbon footprint, just like so many other responsible organizations and companies.
To that end, we now offer the newsletter via e-mail delivery in place of the paper copy to those individuals who request this service. The electronic newsletters are produced in full color. where available.
Interested parties can see how this looks by clicking on the current issue menu choice under Publications. The copies will be sent in Adobe's Acrobat PDF format and requires the downloading of the Acrobat PDF Reader if you don't already have it.
Recipients of the electronic version receive their copies on the day we mail out the paper versions (still in black and white). This can be a savings in waiting time of over a week.
